The Freedom of Information Act requires that the City of Dowagiac disseminate its public records in order to further the public policy of this State so that all person are entitled to full and complete information regarding the affairs of the this City and the official acts of those persons who represent the citizens of this City as public officials and public employees.  A list of procedures and guidelines regarding this can be found here.
