 The
Dowagiac
Union School District offers several programs as
part of and in addition to their curriculum such as a Division I
rated marching band, 36 varsity and junior varsity athletic teams,
National Honors Society and Chess Club, to name a few.
Several area churches offer year round and summer
youth programs, Dowagiac District Library hosts a summer reading
program, the MSU Extension Office facilitates various 4-H programs
throughout the county and is highlighted at the annual Cass
County Fair.
Two of the greatest gifts we can give our youth
are opportunity and encouragement. Some opportunities are listed
